(Location cited as NR 432 693). Harbour, Port Askaig, 19th century. Much altered, but incorporates a pier and part of a quay from an earlier design.
J R Hume 1977.

This harbour is not noted as such on the 1981 edition of the OS 1:10,000 map, and evidently comprises a number of discrete facilities around a small bay, rather than an integrated construction. No breakwaters or harbour walls are evident.
Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 26 November 2009.
