Name Book 1881
A township comprising six unroofed buildings, an enclosure, some field walls and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Island of Harris 1881, sheet ix). Four roofed, two unroofed buildings, two enclosures, some field walls and a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973). These buildings form part of the township of Amhuinnsuidhe, which on the 1st edition is shown as less extensive and lying to the SE of the township of Leosavay.
