This courtyard farmstead is built of concrete and includes a two-storeyed dwelling with a later sheet-metal extension. There is a yard behind the farmhouse with a stable and a byre opposite. These once had a loft over. A projecting wing to the W includes a two-bay cart shed, an earth closet, a pigsty and a henhouse. A detached byre and shed have been demolished. The house is slated while the yard, stable and byre were formerly covered by a single span of curved corrugated iron, which blew off in the 1950s. The yard is now open and the stable and byre reduced to a single storey under a gabled roof.
Visited by RCAHMS (GJD), November 1993 and July 1994; see NMRS MS 744/98.
